There is something so beguiling about cows, and particularly highland cows in the way they peer at you from under their shaggy fringes. Nessie looks particularly windswept and has a mischievous twinkle in her eye. I have built up the texture of her rugged coat in many layers while making her nose and eye the focal points.

My career has taken two parallel paths: one doing corporate commissions for interiors, in particular for the cruise industry (my work is in the permanent collections onboard at least a couple dozen ships), and the other selling my paintings online, through galleries or by private commission.
